Our story
Sindhu & Partners was founded in 2015 by Sasuie Abbas Leghari and Khalid Subhan with a simple but ambitious objective: to make high-quality immigration advice accessible without compromising on professionalism, ethics or technical excellence.
The firm’s origins are closely connected to Sasuie’s own immigration journey. In 2013, her settlement application was refused. She prepared and successfully argued her own appeal, and that experience became the catalyst for a career in immigration law.

What makes us different
Every matter entrusted to us is handled with care, diligence and attention.
Immigration law affects careers, businesses, education, family life, personal safety and long-term futures. Our approach is defined by five principles.
Simplifying complexity
UK immigration law is constantly evolving and can be complex to navigate. We break down legal requirements into clear, practical guidance and explain each stage in plain language, so clients can make informed decisions and take ownership of their immigration journey.
Thorough preparation
Strong outcomes are rarely achieved by chance. We take a meticulous approach to case preparation, supporting applications with robust evidence, carefully reasoned representations and a strategy tailored to the realities of Home Office decision-making.
Direct and accessible advice
Clients work directly with the professionals handling their matters. We take the time to understand individual circumstances, answer questions thoroughly and remain accessible throughout the lifecycle of a case.
Long-term relationships
Many clients return to us at different stages of their immigration journey, from initial entry clearance through to settlement and British citizenship. In many cases our relationship with clients extends across generations.
Honest guidance
Where we believe a proposed course of action is unlikely to succeed, we say so. Clients receive realistic assessments, transparent advice and alternative options where available.
How we work
A firm built on trust, responsibility and respect.
Our clients place significant trust in us. These commitments describe the standards we hold ourselves to, inside the firm and in every piece of advice we give.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
As an immigration practice, diversity is not simply a corporate objective; it is central to who we are.
Our team reflects the diversity of the communities we serve, bringing together professionals from different nationalities, cultures, faiths and backgrounds. We are proud to employ international talent and foster a workplace where differing perspectives and experiences are welcomed, respected and valued.
We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all clients and colleagues, regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. We recognise that individuals from LGBTQIA+ communities may face distinct legal and personal challenges within immigration processes, and we are committed to providing advice in a manner that is respectful, sensitive and confidential.
We are particularly conscious of the challenges faced by vulnerable migrants, including those experiencing family separation, seeking international protection, or navigating systemic barriers within the immigration system. Every individual who seeks our advice is treated with dignity, respect and professionalism.
Responsible Business
The advice we provide can directly affect an individual’s ability to live, work, study, establish a business or remain with their family in the United Kingdom. We take that responsibility seriously.
Professional integrity underpins every aspect of our work. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethics, transparency and accountability, ensuring clients receive advice that is objective, realistic and focused on their best interests.
Where a case lacks merit, we provide honest advice from the outset rather than encouraging unnecessary applications or proceedings. We believe trust is built through candour, particularly when conversations are difficult.
We are equally committed to maintaining high standards internally through continuous professional development, investment in staff training, rigorous quality assurance processes and the ongoing refinement of our systems and procedures.
Since our establishment in 2015, the firm has never been the subject of a formal complaint. We regard this not as an endpoint, but as a reflection of the professionalism, responsiveness and care we strive to demonstrate in every client relationship.
As part of our broader responsibilities, we are committed to operating sustainably and reducing the environmental impact of our business wherever practicable. Through digital-first working practices, secure electronic document management, reduced paper consumption and flexible working arrangements, we seek to deliver legal services efficiently while minimising unnecessary resource use. We continue to review our operations to identify further opportunities to improve our environmental performance.
Our Commitment
At Sindhu & Partners, we measure our success not simply by outcomes, but by the trust our clients place in us.
We understand that behind every application, appeal or immigration query is a person, a family or a business making important decisions about the future. For that reason, we take the time to listen carefully, understand individual circumstances and provide advice that is both legally robust and genuinely practical.
Clients come to us during moments of uncertainty, and our role is to provide clarity, reassurance and expert guidance. We believe exceptional service requires more than technical knowledge. It requires accessibility, responsiveness, empathy and a genuine commitment to achieving the best possible outcome for each client.
More than a decade after our founding, the principles that shaped the firm remain unchanged. We continue to build lasting relationships, earn trust through honest advice and support our clients through every stage of their immigration journey.
For us, immigration law is not a volume exercise. It is a people-focused profession built on trust, responsibility and the understanding that every case matters.
